Wanted to share an updated experience for anybody who’s curious on how the process works these days. Orientation is on Tuesdays only, show up between 8:45am- 9:00am SHARP to the meeting hall on the north side of the building with $85 ($80 for placement on the unskilled out of work list and $5 for the badge fee). Orientation is about an hour or so, fill out the app and pay the fee before getting your badge the following day. As of writing this, list for skilled extra board has about 400+ waiting for work on it but don’t let that deter you it’s moving quickly (51 slots down in one day ). Easy sign up process, submit your skills (CDL, OSHA, or forklift certs) to the training center email to get upgraded to the skilled extra board. Staff seemed helpful if you follow directions and do your part by reading, excited to get out there and make some money ($39.50hr for CDL local work? Absolutely) . Took a star off for not knowing about dues and benefits yet but, Check em out!

$82 dues due the last business day every month to keep your spot for the following month!! Be sure to call and pay or else you’ll lose your spot in line.

Always a quick experience for me, even when I was sure what to do/bring with. Everyone in the office (both sides) has been extremely professional and courteous on every visit, and if not knowledgeable about my concerns, they easily direct me to those who are.

Worked on a special project out of this hall for a few months. Not a Teamster, so I can't really compare it to anything directly that I have in my Steelworker experience, but seems like a nice hall.

Dispatcher on 10/3 hung up on me for no reason was pretty rude. We are humans may not understand what your saying and kindness goes farther it gives 631 a better look..my recommendation is be nicer ....it gets more extraboard too...
